PAS was formed in 1982 jointly between Egypt and United States as follows:

75% ownership by
Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation "EGPC", Egypt.

25% ownership paid by
Bristow Group Inc.
The purpose of the
company is to provide Air Services Transportation inside and
outside Egypt using Helicopters and Fixed Wing Aircraft in
the field of services required for Petroleum Companies, Mineral
Resources, Economical & Industrial Projects which are
exemplified in Transporting Individuals, Equipment, Aerial
Survey Operations, Fire Fighting, Rescuing, Ambulance, Air
Photography, Pollution Control, Pipeline Surveillance & Air Taxi Services.
The company started operations in year 1982 with 9 Helicopters against a number of 39 Aircraft in 2007, including a new model EC 135 helicopter received in November 2007 in addition to a second one to be received in 2008.
As PAS has an edge in the Egyptian market, due to owning a fleet of 10 Fixed Wing Aircraft, and being highly reputed for its safety, commitment and hospitality on board, it has successfully penetrated the field of Tourism by providing flight services to different points of interest in Egypt and surrounding cities.
